Millicent
"What a Voice!"
Millicent is a Singer/Performer based in South Yorkshire. Growing up surrounded by music, her passion for Singing and Theatre began at a young age and ever since, she has honed her craft.

Millicent has completed some of the highest grades with the London College of Music (LCM), part of the University of West London and the International Dance Teacher's Association (IDTA). Most recently, she has celebrated achieving her Associate Diploma with LCM and is working towards her LLCM.
​
In a career now spanning more than 10 years, Millicent enjoys working as a singing and dance teacher in various schools in the South Yorkshire area. Currently, she works at Stamper Dance and Encore Vocal Studio as a Vocal Coach where she helps to train her students to use correct vocal techniques and help them find their passion for singing.

Millicent has performed professionally at a variety of events over the years. She has taken the stage at music festivals and galas, performed at the opening of businesses and starred in musicals, to name just a few of her achievements.
​
Millicent has starred in local musicals, taking the stage as 'Matron 'Mama' Morton' in a production of 'Chicago' and later as 'Nicely, Nicely Johnson' in 'Guys and Dolls'.
​
From 2018 to present, Millicent has been performing at the Fox Valley Music Festival, including their online performance during Lockdown 2020.
In 2022, Millicent had the privilege of headlining at The Curiosity Fair in Bourne with a Jazz set. Christmas of that same year, she was asked to provided the entertainment at the opening of the new M&S supermarket in Chesterfield, enjoying the opportunity to perform Christmas Music.

Available for a range of functions - Weddings (ceremonies and receptions), Corporate Events, Festivals, Fairs, Celebrations, Children's Parties etc.

Millicent has a varied repertoire of music, allowing her to find a music style to suit you, working to ensure each event is personalised and tailored to individual requirements.

Examples of her repertoire include Pop, Rock and Ballads. Jazz Standards and Swing Style Numbers, Golden-Age or Contemporary Musical Theatre, Disney Songs and Christmas Hits, to name just a few.

From the very first conversation with Milli I found her to be a warm and friendly person. Super helpful and understanding of my need to confirm everything with a 3rd party as I was booking on behalf of a lady that I am a support worker for. She listened to what I wanted and delivered it to an exceptional standard! I asked for a Disney inspired set and Milli created a beautiful set list perfect for our event. 10 out of 10 from us!
